Alabama Beer Week or ABW is a 10 day celebration of craft beer across the state of Alabama.  From large beer festivals and beer dinners to special release parties and rare tastings, the week celebrates America’s favorite beverage and the great culture that surrounds good beer.

Beer is a beverage that spans over 10,000 years of human history and across every continent, from the birthplace of beer in Egypt, to the traditional brewing countries in Europe, to the exciting beer revolution taking place right here in the United States.  Beer is a beverage that expands far beyond what the average consumer drinks and the goal of ABW is to introduce Alabamans to the wonderful and exciting world of craft beer.
